Endometrial Scratch

Endometrial Scratch

This scratch is carried out simultaneously with hysteroscopy, under anesthesia, through the vagina, which leads to the proper placement of the embryo. During the hysteroscopy, endometrial scratching is done and in case of finding irregularities in wall of the uterus (fibroids, polyps, etc.) they’re removed.

The best time to do this technique is before the start of the patient’s estrogen cycle for embryo transfer. In some women with IVF failed history, this method may increase the chance of implantation to a relatively high rate.
